Tourism and Accommodations

Located close to Imperial is Etters Beach on Last Mountain Lake which is a great lake for fishing, swimming and camping.  There are 13 serviced RV sites, 47 unreserved sites and 28 seasonal sites.  The area is also a well known location for fall bird hunting. The Canadian Wildlife Service is located at the north end of Last Mountain Lake and is the oldest bird sanctuary in North America.

There is also a 9 hole sand green golf course, 2.5 km’s south of Imperial, three ball diamonds located near the rink, and a skating and curling rink with artificial ice.

Imperial also has an RV park with ten (10) 30 amp electrical full hook-up sites. There is also an outdoor covered area available for family gatherings. Located nearby to the RV park is a well lit, treed walking/bike path. There is also a RV sewer dump located in Imperial.
