Municipal Services
Law Enforcement
The Town of Imperial has a contract with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to provide police services to the town, from the Detachment at Watrous. The RCMP can be reached at 306-946-3316 or in an emergency at 911.
Fire Protection
The volunteer Fire Department consists of 12 members, and there are two pumper trucks of which one serves the surrounding rural area. The Fire Department can be contacted in an emergency by calling 911.
Ambulance
Imperial & District Ambulance Inc. operates a provincially licensed ambulance service contracted through the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Two fully equipped ambulances provide 24/7 Basic Life Support with some advanced pre-hospital care.
Advanced Care is provided from the cities and/or Stars when the patient condition requires a higher level of care.
Water
The Town water supply is from a well, which is then put through a Reverse Osmosis water treatment plant which opened in 2002.

Postal Facilities
Postal service is post office boxes supplied by Canada Post through a post office on Main Street.
Telephone and Internet
Telephone and high speed internet service is provided by Sask Tel. For information phone 1-800-727-5835 There is also very good cell phone coverage, with a cell tower located just south of Imperial.
TV Cable System
The town of Imperial is served by Access Communications for cable, internet and security.

Transportation
Freight service is supplied by Jay’s Transport out of Regina twice a week. Courier service is available from DHL and Purolator.
Housing
The Town of Imperial has one privately owned apartment building consisting of four apartments. There are 6 low-cost senior housing units available. Contact Brenda Rookes 567-0225. The Town of Imperial also owns a 4-unit senior independent living facility–Long Lake Valley Court. For more information contact the Town Office at 963-2220.
